Nicola Roberts has claimed that Girls Aloud's rumoured reunion won't happen for another year.

It has been suggested that the band, who won Popstars: The Rivals in 2002, are plotting a return to the music scene next year to celebrate their ten year anniversary.

The group have been taking time off as some of the members pursue solo projects - including Roberts, who released 'Cinderalla's Eyes' earlier this year.

But now it seems like Girls Aloud won't be resurfacing until late 2012. Speaking to The Daily Mail's Katie Nicholl, Roberts said:

"I'm excited about us coming back but it won't be for another year now."
