Nicola Roberts has treated fans to exclusive behind the scenes footage from her new video shoot for 'Yo-Yo'. 

The flame-haired songstress posted a message on her official Twitter page earlier today, November 29, that explained the progress of the new video and she wrote:

"#YOYO VIDEO UPDATE.. ITS DONE AND DUSTED, GRADED AND APPROVED!!!! HERE'S THE BEHIND THE SCENES.."

The footage shows Roberts in an array of eye-catching outfits and speaking about the video, she revealed:

"The general concept is really all about the story and just following the story of the song. It's a really emotional song... [so] one of the hardest things about today is to take it out of my situation and be able to perform the song through the cameras. I think the song means a lot to a lot of people, so fingers crossed the story really hits home."
