Nicole Scherzinger has been confirmed to perform at this year's MOBO Awards.

The singer will take to the stage with a special guest at the awards ceremony, which is being held at London's Wembley Arena on October 22.

Posting about the news on Twitter today (October 15), the MOBOs said:

"Latest #MOBO2014 announcement: @NicoleScherzy will be performing with A VERY SPECIAL guest!"

Scherzinger joins the recently announced Jessie J on the bill, as well as Professor Green, Krept and Konan, Gorgon City and MNEK.

The event is returning to London after being hosted in cities such as Glasgow and Liverpool in recent years.
