Nicole Scherzinger has revealed that Sam Smith is at the top of her collaboration wishlist.

The singer, who is due to release her new album 'Big Fat Lie' on October 20, told the Mirror that she holds great admiration for the 'Stay With Me' star.

The former X Factor judge said: "I'm his biggest fan as I just connect with him on a really deep level. He's the most genuine person I've met.

"I'd love to work with him. There aren't many cats like him around."

Scherzinger's album will feature the singles 'On The Rocks' and 'Your Love'.

The record will follow-up her debut solo record 'Killer Love', which was released back in 2011.
