A rep for Nicole Scherzinger has confirmed reports that the singer was involved in a car accident last week.

It was suggested in the media today (October 22) that the US star tried to leave a moving limo in London after becoming unwell.

This apparently inadvertently caused a car accident and whilst her rep didn't disclose details about the incident, they told the Daily Mail:

"Nicole Scherzinger was involved in a minor car accident in Central London last week.

"The incident occurred when Nicole became sick from exhaustion following an 18-hour video shoot."

The singer released her new album 'Big Fat Lie' in the UK on Monday (October 20).
