Nicole Scherzinger says she is looking forward to returning to the X Factor.

The singer will rejoin the judging panel of the ITV show's 2016 series.

She will be joined by Simon Cowell, Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh.

Speaking on ITV's Good Morning Britain today (June 3), Scherzinger revealed her anticipation.

She said: "I'm so excited. I miss England, I haven't been there in a while.

"It's my second home and I'm happy to be with Sharon and Louis, I haven't seen them for a while, and Simon of course."

When asked what viewers should expected, Scherzinger replied:

"I think we're just going to have a lot of fun this year."

The US star was a judge on the show for two series between 2012-13.
