Nicole Scherzinger is currently working as a judge on X Factor USA and the show's mastermind, Simon Cowell, has opened up about inclusion on the panel. 

The 51-year-old music mogul spoke at the programme's official launch about having the 'Poison' hitmaker on board and revealed he admired her selfish and ruthless personality. 

"I think you've proven that there's nothing wrong with being selfish. You are somebody I've admired, who has ruthlessly succeeded in their career even when you left the Pussycat girls behind."

"And there's nothing wrong with that because it's about ambition."
