X Factor beauty Nicole Scherzinger has advised fellow judge Louis Walsh to "work it" in the style stakes.

The pair sit on the hit TV talent show's coveted judging panel alongside Tulisa and Gary Barlow. Much is made of Tulisa and Scherzinger's head-turning designer outfits every week, but the stunning star thinks more people should pay attention to silver-haired Walsh's wardrobe choices.

Speaking about the Irish judge's turtleneck jumper he chose to wear on one of the live shows recently, she said: "I told him: 'I love that turtleneck' and he thought I was poking fun! He needs to work it. Forget Tulisa and me - it's all about Gary and Louis' style wars!"

Scherzinger is famed for her natural beauty, but refuses to stick to conventional attire.

She explained to Closer magazine: "I could play it safe, but I'm willing to take a risk - such as having a huge plait coming out of my head or working a McQueen lampshade hat. But I'm always like, 'I hope they get it!'"

She added: "I'm actually in high-street clothes all the time. I went to All Saints the other day and I own a suit from Whistles."
