No Doubt unveil exciting new album details

No Doubt have revealed to Rolling Stone magazine that their sixth, and as of yet untitled album, is only around two months away from completion.

The ska-punk-pop band have been teasing fans with snippets of information about their new record for quite some time but it seems the wait is almost over as their latest interview gives a more cohesive sense of what they've been working on:

"It's so exciting to have a record coming out. And we all want the same thing: for it to be modern and catchy and addictive. Once you make music that connects with people, it's like you taste blood — you can't go back."

The 'Spiderwebs' rockers also unveiled two song titles, namely 'Settle Down' and 'One More Summer', and added that writing together as a band "feels like home":

"I had gone on my tortured journey of working with outside songwriters. I would throw up if someone made me do that again."

"Writing with other people is a learning experience, but when you come back, and you're sitting in a room together, it feels like home."

No release date has been confirmed but frontwoman Gwen Stefani recently admitted the new album should be out this year. Watch the band's impromptu performance of 'It's My Life' during a charity event here:
