Russell Brand says Noel Gallagher mocks him over 'Parklife' joke

Russell Brand has revealed that his friend Noel Gallagher makes fun of him over his 'Parklife' joke.

Internet users have compared the comedian's writing and speech to the spoken word section of the 1994 Blur song.

Speaking on Alan Carr's Chattyman show, Brand said that former Oasis man Gallagher uses the joke when messaging the comic.

He said: "[Gallagher] finishes his texts with it now. He'll go, 'Alright Russell, how's it going?' then say something offensive about my hair or my private beliefs, and then go 'Parklife'.

"I secretly think, 'I remember when there was a race to be Number One and Blur won it against Oasis, so f*ck you, in a time machine'."

Brand's episode of Chatty Man meanwhile will air in the UK on Channel 4 tonight (November 28).
