Noel Gallagher warned against Oasis reunion by Paul Weller

Noel Gallagher says Paul Weller has encouraged Oasis not to reunite.

The British indie outfit split in 2009 after brothers Noel and Liam fell out before a gig.

Speaking in the new issue of NME, Noel Gallagher said that his friend Weller - a former member of The Jam - is against the idea of Oasis reforming.

The musician said: "He threatens me that if I ever go back in Oasis that'll be it between us.

"He always says, 'You f**king heard all these f**king things about your f**king reunion?', and I'm like, 'Yeah, I know', and he goes, 'You're not f**king doing it?', and I'm like, 'No', and he's going, 'Good good good'.

"Basically, if Oasis ever did get back together, which is highly unlikely, I'd have to leave London and move back to Manchester...because he'd put my f**king windows in."

Gallagher meanwhile has enjoyed a successful career post-Oasis with Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds.

His brother Liam's band Beady Eye split in 2014.
