Noel Gallagher tops Amazon's best-selling albums of 2015 list

Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds album ‘Chasing Yesterday’ has been named the biggest-selling record of the year by Amazon.

The chart-topping album from the former Oasis star topped a poll of Amazon.co.uk data which made ‘Chasing Yesterday’ the online retailer’s best-seller of 2015 so far.

Noel Gallagher’s solo work managed to beat Bob Dylan, Madonna and Meghan Trainor to the top of the poll list.

The Director of Amazon Music EU, Steve Bernstein, stated: “From Madonna through to Led Zeppelin, 2015 has already seen some high profile album launches. With the likes of Blur, Muse and Mumford and Sons set to release albums in the coming months we're heading into a great summer for music lovers, competition for 2015's biggest album is only set to intensify.”

Amazon’s best-selling album in 2014 was Ed Sheeran’s ‘X’.
