Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds have confirmed a series of UK tour dates.

The musician and his band will hit the road in April for a total of six shows in England and Scotland.

The run will open at the Hydro in Glasgow on April 21, with dates following in Aberdeen, Liverpool and Leeds.

Gallagher will then perform at Birmingham's Genting Arena on April 29 before concluding things in Bournemouth a day later.

Super Furry Animals will provide support, with tickets going on sale from 9am UK time on October 23.
