Noel Gallagher praises Paul Weller for his longevity and stamina

Oasis icon Noel Gallagher has praised Paul Weller (pictured left) for being in the industry for so long, but still having the enthusiasm and stamina of 'a teenager'.

Speaking exclusively to Triple J recently, Gallagher explained that he admires Weller and thinks he is a great musician to look up to because he is authentic and always passionate about what he does:

"You are talking [about] guy who's been at it for 50 years but he doesn't seem like that, seems like a teenager. That is something to aspire to."

"[He] truly and utterly lives it day to day; he means it and when he's in the studio he's totally immersed in the record he's making. What I've learnt from him is you've got to own it, you've got to mean it; he puts everything into his gigs and his performances and recording sessions."

Gallagher joked: "And it infuriates him that I don't. I'm saying, 'yeah but Paul, the Greats don't really have to try, you know?' You're working up a sweat there - I'm sitting here putting the kettle on watching the football."
