Noel Gallagher: 'Stone Roses said their new album feels like their first again'

Iconic rocker Noel Gallagher has revealed that he is excited for the Stone Roses to release new music.

Chatting to the NME recently about the popular band's return, Gallagher explained that he bumped into Ian Brown in a grocery store not too long ago and they talked about the group's forthcoming new album and how invigorating it was to be back in the studio:

"I am very excited, for them mainly. They're going to play some new songs. I bumped into Ian in a supermarket recently. He was buying chocolate flavoured shower gel. This is not a joke. He leant and said 'have you tried this?' and I said of course I hadn't. He swears by it, says it's amazing. And before it turned into a photoshoot with everyone and their cameraphones, he was telling me how excited they are by it all. He said it was like they were making their first record again."

The Stone Roses have the following 2016 live commitments scheduled:

Tokyo, Nippon Budokhan (June 2, 3)
Manchester, Etihad Stadium (June 15, 17, 18, 19)
New York, Madison Square Garden (June 30)
T In The Park (July 8)
Dublin, Marlay Park (July 9)
