Noel Gallagher blasts One Direction

Noel Gallagher insists "everybody's winning" when it comes to the success of One Direction.

In a foul mouth rant aimed at the global superstars, former Oasis star Gallagher revealed exactly what he thinks about the band's extraordinary achievements.

Speaking to GQ magazine, he blasted: “Everybody’s winning out of it. One Direction  aren’t working in the local f***ing Costcutter, so they’re winning. The geezer who’s writing the f***ing s**t tunes — he’s winning. He’s got f***ing new houses coming out of his ear holes.

He added: “The record company are winning — ’cos they’re all getting their f***ing bonuses at Christmas.

“The young 12-year-old girls are winning because one day they might actually grow up to give one of them a b**w job. They’re all winning. No one’s losing. The only people who are losing are idiots like me at 9.30 in the morning when you’re trying to get the kids out the door for school, and they’re f***ing murdering one of Blondie’s songs.”

Noel's brother Liam has previously shared his thoughts on One Direction - comprising members Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Liam Payne.

He said: "I'm not into their music. [But] fair play to them, man, they got lucky - like we all do, I guess - and they're just going for it. That's what it's all about, innit? It's all going to end at some point. And when it ends, you want to make sure you've ticked all the boxes."
