Olly Murs thinks Demi Lovato duet will have big chart impact

Olly Murs has predicted that his new Demi Lovato collaboration will do well in the charts.

The singer is due to release the duet 'Up' in the UK on December 21.

The tune has been taken from new album 'Never Been Better' and Murs told Digital Spy that he has high hopes for the single.

He said: "We wanted the best possible person on it and we felt Demi was the right person because she's got a great personality. She's young, she's current and I like being different.

"I like the fact that it's a choice people didn't expect, it's not the obvious choice. You know, in the charts it's going to be a big, big, big moment, I think."

Speaking meanwhile about working with the Brit, Lovato commented:

"I love Olly's music, he's super talented and the song is very different to what I normally do. He's the sweetest guy in the world and I was excited to work on the track with him."
