Olly Murs: 'Some artists don't care - they release good singles and the rest of the album is rubbish'

Olly Murs says he doesn't get complacent when creating albums.

The singer told the BBC that he feels some musicians focus more on singles and this leaves full records sub-par as a result.

However, the Brit said that he endeavours to create quality all round.

Speaking about his new album 'Never Been Better' and his forthcoming 2015 UK tour, Murs said:

"I've really studied these songs. I've listened to them 200, 300, 400 times.

"Some artists don't care. They release good singles and the rest of the album is rubbish [but] I don't like to live in complacency. A really good album is one you can listen to hundreds of times and still love it."
