Olly Murs: 'I'm worried about what will happen to my voice on tour'

British hitmaker Olly Murs recently revealed that he damaged his vocal cords last year and he has now confessed that this incident has left him with an irrational fear of repeating the injury

The 'Troublemaker' star told Event magazine that he believes his voice was damaged for good at one point, which left him with a permanent sense of concern about his voice:

"I saw doctors, throat experts, and even when I knew it would come back, I worried how it would come back, and whether it would go again. When I could finally sing after a couple of days I was so relieved... Even now I'm worried about what's going to happen on my tour. All I know is that I'm doing everything I can to look after it..."

The heartthrob shared a tweet earlier today (January 12) and informed his followers of his plans for the next 7 days: "USA! Excited to be heading back to the states this week. I'll be performing #WrappedUp on the @TODAYshow on Thursday!"
