Last month, British singer-songwriter Olly Murs was announced as Radio Disney's Next Big Thing and he has now unveiled his announcement video to celebrate the exciting news. 

The star was handpicked to feature in the series to promote to the upcoming U.S. release of his current album and in the video update, the 'Heart Skips A Beat' sensation admitted that he's very proud to have been earmarked by such a prominent entertainment company.

Radio Disney boss Phil Guerini initially commented: "Radio Disney has been a fan of Olly Murs since we added his single 'Heart Skips a Beat' to our rotation in June of 2012. We're excited to team up with him for the US launch of his fourth studio album and further familiarise our audience to the global talent that is Olly Murs."

Murs, meanwhile, is due to kick off his UK headlining tour on Tuesday, March 31 in Sheffield at the Motorpoint Arena and it will run until May 9 at the Echo Arena in Liverpool.
