Olly Murs on estranged twin brother: 'He doesn’t want to be a part of my family's life'

Olly Murs has opened up about his estranged twin brother.

The 30-year-old told the Sunday Post that his sibling Ben made the choice to distance himself from Murs' family.

The singer, who missed his brother's wedding whilst on the X Factor, said:

"I'm fine about it because my conscience is clear. My brother’s the one who decided he didn’t want to be a part of my life, so there’s nothing I can do about it.

"He made that decision and he has to live with it. He doesn’t want to be a part of my life or my mum and dad’s. My family tried everything to stay in contact with him and he wasn’t interested.

“It’s unfortunate that I now live my life without my brother with me. But hopefully time will be a healer and it will be sorted out in the future.”

The singer's brother reportedly said that Murs was a "self-obsessed sell-out" when he didn't attend his wedding five years ago in favour of X Factor rehearsals.
