Olly Murs has admitted that he is already starting to get nervous about hosting this year's X Factor.

The singer and former Xtra Factor colleague Caroline Flack are due to take over presenting the show later this year.

Speaking to Free Radio, Murs admitted that whilst he is excited to start the job, some nerves are starting to occur.

He said: "I can’t wait - it’s gonna be amazing.

"I think nerves have definitely kicked in a little bit, I’m like wow, it’s gonna be quite an amazing thing to do. Obviously at the moment focusing on the tour, but I’m really excited. It’s gonna be really tough for me and Caroline obviously replacing someone like Dermot."

This year's X Factor meanwhile is currently undertaking preliminary auditions around the UK.
