Singer Olly Murs has revealed that it's unlikely he will ever take his close friendship with 'X Factor' co-host Caroline Flack to another level because it would 'mess things up' between them.

Speaking to MTV News about their relationship, Murs confessed that it's simply not worth the risk to move from platonic to physical: 

"Well, if it didn't happen three or four years ago then it isn't going to happen now. To be honest, it would mess everything up."

He went onto add that hooking up would remove the flirtation and sexual tension that makes their dynamic so exciting to watch on television: “Say me and Caroline slept with each other, then we had an argument but still had to work together. How would that work? There'd be friction... we'd lose that flirtatious thing, that chemistry."
