Olly Murs has seen off some major competition on this week's Official Albums Chart to score his fourth Number 1 album. 

The singer’s fifth studio album 24 HRS sold 58,000 across physical, digital and streaming to net his fourth consecutive chart-topper. Olly's only album to miss the top spot was his self-titled debut, peaking at Number 2.  

Olly told OfficialCharts.com: "So excited and happy to have 24 HRS go in at Number 1. It’s the most personal album I’ve ever made, and I’m really proud of it. It’s an amazing achievement for me to have had four Number 1 Albums in a row so thanks to my fans for continuing to support me!" 

Olly now joins One Direction with four Number 1 albums, making him the joint most successful X Factor act on the Official Albums Chart. 

Finishing in the runner-up spot this week is Emeli Sande with her second studio album Long Live The Angels (2). Emeli's debut album Our Version of Events spent 67 consecutive weeks inside the Official Albums Chart Top 10.

Michael Ball and Alfie Boe perform well yet again this week; their collection Together drops one place to 3, just ahead of Cliff Richard, who scores his 44th Top 10 album with Just... Fabulous Rock 'n' Roll (4).

Following the death of the legendary Leonard Cohen, his final studio album You Want It Darker climbs 22 places to re-enter the Top 10 at Number 7. His The Essential hits collection is also back the Top 40 this week at Number 26. 

Nathan Sykes' debut album Unfinished Business lands at Number 11, new David Bowie compilation Legacy is at 13, Sting's 12th studio album 57th & 9th finishes at 15, and Simple Minds' Acoustic enters at 16. 

After their performance of Everglow on The Graham Norton Show last week, Coldplay's A Head Full of Dreams climbs 20 places to Number 17, and Pink Floyd's Early Years 1965-72 debuts at 19. 

A Tribe Called Quest's first studio album in 18 years We Got It from Here... Thank You 4 Your Service is new at 26, and finally, Enigma's The Fall of A Rebel Angel finishes at Number 40.
