Olly Murs, JLS thank fans after Soccer Aid charity event

The likes of Olly Murs and JLS have thanked fans after £4m was raised through yesterday's (May 27) Soccer Aid charity event.

A host of famous faces played the special football match at Manchester Utd's Old Trafford stadium, with Robbie Williams also performing.

Olly Murs tweeted after the game that a massive £4m was raised for UNICEF. He said:

"Thanks to everyone who got behind us tonight!! For everyone who donated to UNICEF!! Amazing, we raised over 4million!! That's top stuff!!"

JLS star Marvin Humes meanwhile tweeted: "What a result! Support was amazing! 3-1 to England! LOVE it! Thanks for the support! Great night…all for an amazing cause @UNICEF Marv x."

The match, which saw England and Rest of the World teams play each other, ended 3-1 to England and saw chef Gordon Ramsay taken off injured in the second half.
