Olly Murs says it's "unlikely" he'll return to the Xtra Factor this year.

The British singer has presented the popular The X Factor spin-off show alongside Caroline Flack for two years.

The former show finalist has now addressed speculation surrounding his future on the ITV2 show.

According to Heat World, the star revealed: “I’ve had two great years on it. To be honest, the way my career is going in terms of music and internationally it looks unlikely that I’ll be able to do it. It’s an amazing part of my career and working with Caroline has been great.”

Meanwhile, Murs has listed the thirteen reasons why he loves his fans.

The cheeky charmer took to Twitter this afternoon (January 27) to muse about his loyal followers' best qualities.

He started: "Haha what can I say #13reasonswhyilovemyfans 1.loyal 2.supportive 3.make me smile 4.great singers 4.cheeky 5.flirtatious 6.troublemakers.." before adding: " 7. Respectful 8. Patient 9. Love to embarrass me 10. Keep me grounded 11. Love my potato head 12. Reem 13. The best #13reasonswhyilovemyfans (sic)."

Murs has been entertaining fans in America of late, and addressed them on Twitter after his sold-out gig in Chicago.

Posting a picture of the packed out venue, Murs wrote: "CHICAGO!!!! Here is the pic I promised!!! Plus who ever threw the nail varnish... Jeez Head is hurting!! Lol.

He went on to explain the injury a little further: "No headache this morning.. I was expecting it after the Nail Varnish hit me flush on the forehead.. Big enough target I suppose haha (sic)."
