Former X Factor contestant Olly Murs has revealed that he wants to decorate and renovate his new home but is wary of spending too much money.

Having bought a barn conversion two years ago the 'Troublemaker' singer has only recently moved into the property and left behind his "little bachelor bungalow."

He expressed feelings of worry over the task of decorating his new home as he told the Daily Star Sunday: "It’s taken me a long time to do up my little bachelor bungalow the way I want."

He also went on to detail what his ideal home would be comprised of: "I would love an indoor pool, gym and studio."

Despite his pop music success Murs is still wary about splashing the cash as he clarified: "I don’t want to get cocky with money… I want to pay off the house and mortgage first."

Olly Murs' new single ‘Dear Darlin’’ will be released on June 2.
