Olly Murs too famous to go on lads' holiday

Olly Murs has admitted that he can't go away with friends on holiday to certain places - because he's too famous.

The singer told The Sun that he wants to go with the lads for a boozy trip away from Britain but there's a number of regions he can't visit anymore due to his rising fame.

The former Xtra Factor host revealed:

"I’m hoping to get away with the lads at some point - we normally go somewhere and have a few drinks. But I can’t go to Malia, Magaluf or Zante. I can’t go to any of those places, which is a shame because I had some good times there. But not now."

However, he added: "We have a few weekends away planned. And I’m not known everywhere in the world, so as long as I get to a decent place where no one knows me..."

Murs has arguably seen his fame and reputation rocket recently, with his latest coup coming in the shape of a support slot on Robbie Williams' UK stadium tour.
