@Mosesuvere Interview

1. Tell us about yourself and your music? I'm a Hip Hop Artist from Dallas,TX this is where I was born and raised. I'm the oldest of 6. Both of my parents are from Nigeria and I'm the first from my family and also village to be born in America. The music I create is a collection of stories and experiences that capture the past and present times of my life and the things Ive seen in other people's lives all of which is to create a sense of hope for my listeners and point them to a God that loves them dearly.

2. How would you describe your sound? Man, that's a tough question. I feel it sounds like where I'm from which is Dallas. It's a unique sound. I have a blend of all of my influences as well as what I'm currently listening to! I think I sound like a Nigerian-American from Dallas. Lol. Haha.

3. Talk about the experience making your single? Yo! Man! I'll tell you with the single We Get Up. Myself and the homies Dustin Cavazos, Abel Zamora we all worked on it together in the same room in the heart of city which is Oak Cliff. It was such a special process. It was the first song we wrote for the album and it really set the tone for the level of greatness we obtained with the project. We wanted to write something that would heal the world. We feel like we did it.

4. What are you currently working on? Any new projects? Shows? Currently I'm working on shooting more music videos for this new album you will see some of those real soon. Also, I'm working on two different projects that I'm taking my time to create one of them is a TV/ Documentary idea that's still needing some final touches. Also, I'm working with my team to build some relationships with artists so we can do some touring for the album as well. We are busy. Probably a little too busy. Haha.

5.  What has been your biggest highlight in your music career this far? Man, there's been so many awesome victories. I think the one that stands out in is seeing the new album reach the top 100 on the iTunes Charts. My listeners really showed up! It's still mind blowing! I'm very grateful to see God do his thing with that!

6. Name your ideal collaboration: mainstream or independent artist(s)? I would love to have Derek Minor A&R an album for me. He's a brilliant song writer and a great business man. He's an independent artist from Nashville but he's doing incredible things. Mainstream wise I would love to work with Nick Jonas. He's doing things that no one has done in such a long time and doing it in such a way that's fresh and new. He's a great artist.

7. Name something random that people do not know about you? I love a dish called "Meat Pies" some call them "Patties" man I would sell my left lung for one RIGHT NOW! There so good! Man!

Also, Im what some would consider a high functioning introvert. I love being with people but I need a break from people at the same time.

8.  What’s one thing you have learned or discovered while being in the indie music scene/industry? The independent music scene has some of the most brilliant writers and musicians in the world.

I wish that more people knew how awesome these artists are!

However, in that same regard the scene has really been growing due to the listeners taking time and supporting great artists!

Now the mainstream is cool and I love what it is but the indie side of things is amazing! If you love great music!

9. What can we expect from you in the future? Well more music, more videos, TV production, more touring! Basically everything I'm doing now just more of it!

10. Anything else you would like to share with our readers? Yes! I'd love to encourage you guys to buy my new album! Share it with your friends! Help me get a show in your city!

Also, I'd love to give a shout out my Uncle Vic, Stanley Rufus, Mike Williams! Oh of course my wife and my two kids!
