Slim Kuttar – Interview and Off The Wall @SlimUndisputed

Tell us about yourself and your music?
I'm a very fun and outgoing person. My music is a reflection of that, being very upbeat and about enjoying life no matter where you are on life's journey.

How would you describe your sound?
I would say my sound is hip-hop with a twist meaning I like to incorporate jazz, blues, and a little bit of classical music in my songs.

Talk about the experience making your single?
It started off with me and Suga Bear in the studio and he was just playing different beats for me to hear. We selected about 8 or 9 beats that was going to be on the EP. When I first heard the track I wasn't 100% sure how I wanted to come on it. I was at home bobbing my head to the beat and the first thing that came to my mind was "you better get your butt up off the wall", and song came to life from there. I actually wrote the whole song to the loop and not the entire beat.

What are you currently working on? Any new projects? Shows?
Working on quite a few projects at the moment. I've been recording a lot of new songs. Some of them are trap/street records lol but still with clean lyrical content. Definitely the party upbeat songs that I'm known for. A few tracks specifically for the ladies. I'm experimenting with different sounds as well. But no matter what you know my music is always gone deliver that motion picture where you can visualize from start to finish each and everyone of my bars and what I'm saying. I have a few endorsement deals in the works. I am definitely doing more shows. Just spot dates here in the states right now. I'm actually heading over to Europe to do a few festivals at the end of the month which I'm very excited about!

What has been your biggest highlight in your music career this far?
It definitely would have to be June 2, 2017. That was the day I release my debut single "OFF THE WALL".

Name your ideal collaboration: mainstream or independent artist(s)?
My ideal collaboration from a mainstream side would be a Ludacris or Lil Wayne. From a independent side would G-Eazy or Chance The Rapper.
Name something random that people do not know about you?
I used to play professional basketball.

What’s one thing you have learned or discovered while being in the indie music scene/industry?
Being on the indie music scene from a artist perspective it allows you to connect with fans on a very interpersonal level.

What can we expect from you in the future?
Consistency and not just a one hit wonder, or the quality of my music ever fallen off.
