Black Sabbath announce final tour: 'It truly will be the end'

Black Sabbath have confirmed plans to head out on one final tour.

The veteran heavy metal group will hit the road in 2016 to close the final chapter on their illustrious career.

The band, who feature Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler, have announced North America, Australia and New Zealand shows so far.

They will kick off on January 20, with no UK shows yet confirmed.

The final date of the tour is currently scheduled for New Zealand's Dunedin on April 30.

Black Sabbath meanwhile released their last album '13' in 2013.
