Paolo Nutini has opened up on receiving glowing praise from Adele.

The '21' singer recently took to Twitter to post a link to a new Nutini live session track, along with the text:

"F*ck!!! This is one of the best things I've ever seen in my life hands down."

This piece of praise seemingly shocked Nutini, who told the BBC that his new record 'Caustic Love' has picked up a lot of attention.

Speaking about Adele, he said: "It's amazing how influential she is, she said it and people picked up on it. I don't tweet but people send me screenshots. Paloma Faith was really kind as well. We've had great feedback on it. I'm just so happy."

Nutini released 'Caustic Love' today (April 14) in the UK and it is currently No.1 on the iTunes chart.
