Paolo Nutini enjoys third week at No.1 with 'Caustic Love'

Singer Paolo Nutini has secured his third consecutive week at the top of the UK albums chart with his new record, 'Caustic Love'.

The Official Charts Company previously confirmed the album as the fastest selling of 2014 and since its release has shifted over 198,000 copies. He beat the previous record holder, 'X Factor' winner Sam Bailey, to the title.

Blur frontman Damon Albarn has debuted at No.2 today (May 4) with his new album, entitled 'Everyday Robots', Embrace's self-titled new offering is at 5, and former Distillers frontwoman Brody Dalle has made an appearance at No.33 with 'Diploid Love'.

Elsewhere on the UK Top 40 albums chart, Imelda May's 'Tribal' entered at No.3, and The Pixies are at No.6 with 'Indie Cindy'. Paloma Faith's 'A Perfect Contradiction' is a non-mover at No.4 this week.
