Paramore on next album: 'We know it'll be great when the time is right, but it's not right yet'

'Misery Business' hitmakers Paramore have revealed that they're excited about the prospect about working on a new album, but don't feel that the 'time is right' to start the project at the moment.

Following their performance at the iHeartRadio Music Festival, the band explained that they're treading with caution where this next offering is concerned because it's still in the very early stages. Hayley Williams admitted:

“We’re in the dreaming-up stage, and figuring out kind of who we want to be next. I think we’re getting there. We haven’t written anything that we’ve loved and thought, ‘This is it, this is the new direction,’ or where we want to be, or who we are. But it’ll happen. I know we’re gonna make a great record when the time is right, but it just hasn’t been right yet.”

Earlier this summer, Williams told Britain's Daily Star newspaper that when she's much older she might just bow out of the music world and become more family orientated because she doesn't want to "be a ghost" of her former self:

“I’ve always said I don’t want to be a ghost of my former self. I always want to be the best at whatever I’m doing right then. So when I’m that old maybe I’ll be better at something other than head-banging and pulling muscles in my back. Maybe I’ll just want to be a grandma.”
