P!nk on body-shaming: 'My weight seems more important to some'

'Who Knew' songstress P!nk has opened up about the horrid trend of body-shaming and confessed that it seems ridiculous because everyone has different body types, so it seems crazy to say any one is better than another.

She appeared on Good Morning America this week and spoke about body-shaming, which she was subjected to back in April. P!nk told the programme's host:

"There so many different kind of bodies. How can you shame one over the other? My thing is, if you have all four limbs and all five senses, you're doing A-OK and anybody that has an issue with that needs to find some gratitude."

Earlier this spring, P!nk attended the John Wayne 30th Annual Odyssey Ball at Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel and was met with criticism about her weight. She addressed the rude comments on Instagram, writing:

“I can see that some of you are concerned about me from your comments about my weight. You're referring to the pictures of me from last night's cancer benefit that I attended to support my dear friend Dr. Maggie DiNome. She was given the Duke Award for her tireless efforts and stellar contributions to the eradication of cancer. But unfortunately, my weight seems much more important to some of you.”
