P!nk cancels Barack Obama fundraiser gig as her hospital stay continues
P!nk has been forced into cancelling a Barack Obama fundraising gig as her stay in hospital continues.
As previously reported, the singer was hospitalised recently, citing "stomach flu" or ulcers.
She had tweeted that she was forced to celebrate her daughter Willow's first birthday in hospital - and now she has taken to Twitter to confirm her cancellation of the Obama fundraiser.
P!nk was scheduled to appear at the event in Los Angeles on Wednesday (June 6) but she has now been replaced by Glee's Darren Criss. She said:
":( I'm so bummed i can't perform for The President of the United States this Wed night.thanx @darrencriss for filling in for me!! #badtiming."
She added: "So now I've let down my daughter and the President. wow. great week. However, Willow just got a Gucci dress and a custom rocking chair for her birthday, plus some Toms, so it ain't all bad. Lucky little girl. I think i got a bag of cheetos and a teddy bear for my 1st birthday."
