P!nk nominated for Billboard Touring Awards but pulls more dates due to injury

P!nk has been nominated for a couple of prizes at this year's Billboard Touring Awards.

The singer is up for the Top Draw award and the Top Boxscore gong, which recognises the "highest-grossing single engagement".

For the latter, P!nk's Truth About Love jaunt at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne has been nominated.

The ceremony is due to take place on November 14 and other nominees include The Rolling Stones, Justin Timberlake, One Direction and Taylor Swift.

However, the news came as P!nk was forced to cancel more tour dates due to vocal injury.

She previously shelved two shows in America before promoter Live Nation confirmed that dates in Edmonton, Saskatoon and Winnipeg on October 23, 24 and 26 have been rescheduled to January.

They said in a statement late on Tuesday (October 22): "It became clear after further consultation with her doctors today that more rest is required for her to fully recover from inflamed vocal cords and laryngitis."
