Pixie Lott on being a female in the music industry: 'I’ve never felt pressured to dress a certain way'

Blonde bombshell Pixie Lott has revealed that despite the opinion of other female solo artists, she has never felt pressured to change her appearance in order to fit in.

Speaking to You magazine, the 'Cry Me Out' hitmaker explained that she has always been allowed to experiment wit her style without feeling forced to strip off for the sake of boosting record sales:

“I’ve never felt pressured to dress a certain way... I think each to their own, fair enough. Maybe Ellie (Goulding) was experimenting with fashion."

"I’ve definitely done videos that are more raunchy than others just because of what the song is about.”

Lott also opened up about returning to the music scene after her absence and added that she has been working hard on writing a third album, but feels there isn't a rush to get back into the charts: "I feel if you have a voice, like Lily Allen or Joss Stone, you can come back at any time.”

“I would love to do a collaboration that’s purely me. I think if I had to do it now the clothes would have a ‘60s vibe. But it takes time because you have to do the sketches. Music comes first."
