Pixie Lott hid from photographers while shooting crime drama: 'They always want me looking rough'

'Nasty' singer Pixie Lott has revealed that she actively hid from photographers while filming her guest role in TV drama 'Inspector George Gently' because she played a murder victim and was worried her appearance might be taken out of context in the press.

In the show, the beauty plays the role of a young woman whose body is found washed up on a beach and she told British newspaper The Sun that for the character she had to be in full make-up and prosthetics, which may have looked strange to paparazzi who didn't know she was filming scenes for a crime drama:

"I was trying to hide from the paparazzi because I looked so terrible - my character, Megan, is murdered and found washed up on the beach, so I had all this grey make-up on and was worried I'd end up seeing pictures of me next to a headline like: 'Pixie's gone off the rails!'..."

Lott added: "I don't mind being photographed when I'm all dressed up and at an event, but I hate it when it's unexpected - they always seem to want to get shots of me looking rough!"
