Pixie Lott on 'Nasty' single: 'It has been tricky to release because it features samples'

Blonde bombshell Pixie Lott has revealed that releasing her single, 'Nasty', has been really tough because legally there were so many problems surrounding the track. 

The song was originally meant to have been recorded by Christina Aguilera for the movie 'Burlesque', but is now being released by Lott as her comeback single and she explained to Digital Spy that it was a struggle to get the track out:

"It was a song that was written a while ago, and a few people had recorded it. The version I heard was Claude Kelly singing it... and I just thought it was amazing because it's the perfect bridge [between] my last album and this album."

"The reason it wasn't released previously is because the whole song is full of tonnes of samples... and it's impossible for people to clear."

'Nasty' is due to be officially released on March 10 and you can watch her perform the cut with rising stars The Vamps below:
