Pixie Lott says Strictly Come Dancing will be 'manic'

Pixie Lott admits appearing on Strictly Come Dancing will be "manic".

The singer is due to star on the BBC dancing show as it makes its return this autumn.

The series will kick off on Saturday (September 7) before launching into live shows at the end of the month.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Lott said that the show will be tough to get to grips with as she learns a series of new moves and routines.

The singer said: "It’s going to be very manic to juggle but I'm up for the challenge.

"I haven't really [sized up the competition] - I'm just getting to know everybody and build friendships."

Lott will be joined on the show by fellow music related entrants Frankie Bridge, Scott Mills, Simon Webbe and former Xtra Factor host Caroline Flack.

They will be joined by Alison Hammond, Gregg Wallace, Jake Wood, Jennifer Gibney, Judy Murray, Mark Wright, Steve Backshall, Sunetra Sarker, Thom Evans and Tim Wonnacott.
