Pixie Lott to star in Breakfast at Tiffany’s theatre show

Pixie Lott has bagged a role in a theatrical production of Breakfast at Tiffany’s.

The singer will play the role of Holly Golightly in the first UK and Ireland tour of the show.

The production will enjoy a 12-week run Theatre Royal Haymarket in London’s West End next year.

The shows will take place between June 30 and September 17 2016.

The London dates will be preceded by regional dates in cities such as Leicester, Leeds and Dublin. They will run from March to June.

Lott commented: “I am so excited to play Holly Golightly in Breakfast at Tiffany’s in my first West End play. I absolutely love Holly’s style, and free spirit; she has always been an icon to me and I can’t wait to bring my own personality to the role.

"Alongside music, I've always wanted to be in a play, and getting the opportunity to be in one of my all time favourites and play this fabulous character is a dream come true.”

The show has been seen Truman Capote's novella adapted to the stage by award-winning playwright Richard Greenberg.
