Pixie Lott to perform in support of the 2012 Paralympic Games

Pixie Lott will perform at a special event next weekend to both support and raise awareness for the upcoming Paralympic Games.

The 'All About Tonight' beauty will sing at Sainsbury's Super Saturday, which will take place at Clapham Common on September 10, with other top performers such as The Saturdays, Sugababes and The Wanted.

Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper during her guest editor spot, Lott said:

"Next weekend I’m performing at the Sainsbury’s Super Saturday event to raise awareness of the Paralympic games before next year’s Olympics. On my way to school in London I used to get the train through Stratford, which is where the Olympic village is. I can’t believe it’s come round so quickly."

She also opened up about her excitement at the 2012 London Olympics and revealed that she used to be a gymnast:

"Gymnastics is something I used to do myself but one of the girls doing it with me was horrible so I left. I like to do stretches when I can but I’m not going to do a workout DVD."
