Pixie Lott laughs off film premiere's hairy encounter

Songstress Pixie Lott made headlines earlier this week, but not for her fantastic sense of style or catchy music.

The 'All About Tonight' hitmaker was pictured at the UK premiere of 'The Dark Knight Rises' on Wednesday, July 18 and the photos taken of her on the red carpet revealed that she had visible armpit hair, which soon became the focus of the event.

Following the screening, Lott took to social networking site Twitter and made a joke about the situation, writing:

"Ooooopsies a little bit from inbetween waxes hahaha :)"

Lott also confirmed that she is back in the studio writing new material for an upcoming album and on July 16 she tweeted: "Studio antics today agagag cannot wait to write."

"So happy to be writing in the studio again today ahh wowop"
