PJ Harvey album recording tickets sell out

Tickets have sold out for PJ Harvey's upcoming album recording art exhibition.

As previously reported, the musician recently announced that she will record her ninth record at London's Somerset House in front of an audience.

It will form part of a live art exhibition and it is due to take place on select dates in January and February.

It has now been confirmed that tickets for the events have sold out.

Her team previously commented on the unique recording:

"From Jan 16th visitors will see and hear PJ Harvey, her guest musicians, recording engineers, and producers Flood and John Parish in a glazed architecturally-designed studio.

"For forty-five minutes at a time, groups of people will experience the crafting of a record, which could be anything from laying down a bass drum track, to discussions, improvisation, through to full performances of new songs.

"One-way glass and sound proofing ensure that the musicians can concentrate on their work, but the space and the people who move through it will help to create both the process and presentation of this project."
