Jay-Z’s publicity shots, taken around nine years ago, have mistakenly been used to illustrate Miami Police Department’s website recently next to the headline ‘REPORT GANG ACTIVITY'.

This mistake was discovered by the Miami New Times and the Miami Police Department swiftly removed the offensive images, so what happened?:

Miami Police Department’s Officer Kenia Reyes explained: “It was something that was inadvertently done. It was a mistake.”

The mix-up was blamed on their computer department.
