Professor Green has been formally charged with drink-driving.

The UK rapper was originally arrested in late last year on suspicion of drink driving and also of perverting the course of justice.

He was detained by police in south-east London on November 3 after calling them out to an alleged mugging. However, cops discovered that a car and van had been involved in a crash.

Green was released on bail, but he has now been charged with drinking and driving. Police have not followed up the potential charge of perverting the course of justice.

The rapper is due to face Bromley magistrates on March 20.
