Rapper Professor Green has proposed to Millie Mackintosh, who stars in the reality TV series 'Made In Chelsea'.

The pair have been dating for some time now, but have now announced their engagement and both delighted to have taken the next step in their relationship.

Mackintosh shared a snapshot of her left hand complete with a stunning ring on her finger via Instagram earlier this evening (March 25) and accompanied the revealing photograph with the caption:

"At my favourite restaurant in the whole wide world and then... If I could scream loud enough for the whole world to hear I would."

Green, meanwhile, took a more comical approach to the announcement and tweeted: "Happy days. Someone's gonna have to break the news to Jessica Alba and Eva Mendez."

Following a flood of well-wishes from his fans, he replied: "Thank you to everyone being so kind x x."
