Professor Green postpones UK tour
Professor Green has delayed his upcoming UK tour until next year.
The rapper was due to hit a number of cities across the country in November but a recent injury has postponed work on his new album and as a result, the tour has been moved back too.
He said in a statement: "Firstly, I can’t apologise enough for postponing the tour, I’m as excited to see you all as I hope you are me! Everything was on schedule and then I was unfortunate enough to end up sandwiched between two cars leaving my health and album/touring schedule in absolute jeopardy.
"I want to make the best possible album I can for you all and I want you to have heard the new music so as we can all enjoy the shows how they’re meant to be enjoyed. I could have rushed an album for the sake of making the tour but as I hope you all know I’m in this for the music and am not willing to let it suffer due to a date in the diary. I promise you all it’ll be worth the wait, and there’ll be some bits and bobs in the meantime to bridge the gap… and a new F64."
The new dates meanwhile are as follows:
- May 9 – Glasgow O2 Academy
- May 10 – Newcastle O2 Academy
- May 11 – Liverpool O2 Academy
- May 13 – Carlisle Sands Centre
- May 14 – Derby Assembly Rooms
- May 16 – Manchester O2 Apollo
- May 17 – Birmingham O2 Academy
- May 18 – Leeds O2 Academy
- May 20 – Norwich The Nick Rayns LCR, UEA
- May 21 – Folkestone Leas Cliff Hall
- May 22 – Bristol O2 Academy
- May 23 – London Hammersmith Apollo
