Pulp hint that their reunion is over

Brit-pop heroes Pulp hinted that their reunion stint may be over during a gig in Ireland over the weekend.

The band played at the Electric Picnic festival yesterday (Sunday, September 4) and just before launching into their hit single 'Common People', frontman Jarvis Cocker announced to the crowd:

"This is the last gig of the tour, so (if) we start crying or get emotional, you'll understand... This may be the last time we're ever all on stage together again."

Pulp have enjoyed a great run this summer with popular headlining sets at Glastonbury and the Reading and Leeds festivals, and although they haven't confirmed their plans for the future they sent a message to fans on Twitter today that read:

"Thanks everyone for an amazing summer. We all had a great time & hope you did too. Live on. Pulp xxx"
